This story sounds intriguing. I wish you the best of luck with it. I know I'll be reading it sometime soon---the whole male courtesan thing is too unique to bypass!

Hi Evangaline I am very intrigued with this book, I dont think i have ever read one where the male is a courtesian so to speak. I cant wait to read and find out how the story pans out. Thank you so much for posting this interview.

Having had a chance to read some of HLC early in the process, I was not at all surprised to hear of its success. And I was practically giddy with excitement when I found it (face out on the B&N "new releases" table) at my local branch. It is actually sitting on top of my TBR pile for this upcoming Memorial Weekend when I need a delightful escape from the grind of work, and my duties as Keeper of the Charcoal.

And a little tid-bit for you, Evangeline - I have 2 specimens in my yard (over 60 roses total) of Josephine's Souvenir de la Malmaison rose - a beautiful, lushly scented white Bourbon variety. An actual "descendant" of Josephine's original plants.

Here's to terrific sales for HLC and all of your other wonderful stories! You've got a fan in me for them all.
