Totally agree about Goldblum! He’s of my all-time faves. Mixture of intelligence and that cute Jewish boy thing. Pluse his body is sick in The Fly.

I am a HUGE House fan and part of it is the scruffy…the other part is the whole ‘wounded’ man thing. But it’s his sharp biting wit/comments that really win me over. Oh and those EYES!

Jeff Goldblum is total weirdo who I also find very appealing. I think it has something to do with his voice. He has this interesting speaking voice, and he’s so tall, and odd…and, like you said, charismatic.

I will have to add early Nicholas Cage (b/c I think he’s starting to ‘jump the shark’ for me) to the pile. He is not that attractive in a classical Brad Pitt way, but he’s interesting. And once again, the odd voice or line delivery…and the scruffy factor.

I’m with you on Hugh Laurie, but Goldblum has never done it for me. I like older men, and scruffy is good depending on the guy. (My Hubby is 16 yrs older, but un-scruffy.) For instance, Sean Connery in The Rock is hot. And Russell Crowe in Master and Commander – definitely scruffed up, but Yowza. =o)
