I sometimes review books on my blog, and while I never receive copies from publishers, I sometimes get books from authors. So now I'm supposed to announce I got the book for free? Feh. If I like it, I review it - and I put a link in the review so readers can buy one themselves. I don't do it for compensation. I review books because I want to share my love of a particular story with others. I rarely post reviews for books I don't like, and I don't have reviews for every book I've ever liked. I could go on, but I won't. It's too nice a day for all the negativity I'm feeling. Definitely a huge WTF.
